Scotty Cameron 24 Phantom 5.5 Putter Gents RH
Purposefully designed to offer compact mallet players a blade-like, flowing feel with its refined I-beam jet neck configuration, the familiar Phantom 5.5 emerges again as a Tour-trusted design played by the game’s finest. With a new, dual-milled solid face and a one-piece body precision milled from 303 stainless steel and integrated with an updated, lightweight aluminium sole plate, Scotty’s new Phantom 5.5 demonstrates a commitment to craftsmanship at every turn.
New milled topline sight dots, accented in translucent smoke, provide focused alignment in addition to world-class aesthetics. The incorporation of stainless steel sole weights customised to match optimal putter lengths lends the Phantom 5.5 its balance, higher MOI, stability and forgiveness. This combination of heavier steel and lighter aluminium moves weight to the perimeter of the head, increasing MOI, stability and promotes this model’s blade-like feel with the stability of a mallet.
MULTI-MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION
Each new Phantom mallet incorporates a design methodology using complementary materials to achieve desired performance at a preferred length and weight by integrating precision milled 303 stainless steel with lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminium fused with updated vibration damping technology.
JET NECK
The small jet neck lays back slightly and employs a seamless shaft-over setup for an uninterrupted view of the ball from address with 3/4 shaft of offset in a configuration that encourages a bit of toe flow.
FULL CONTACT GRIP
Each Phantom model features the new Full Contact paddle-style grip, custom-designed for the line. Tapered at both ends and uniquely shaped for optimal in-hand feel, this new grip is crafted at the ideal size, weight and form with a “chain link” texture reminiscent of the feel of the Tour-preferred “Baby T”, ensuring reliable contact with the putter in all weather conditions. The larger flat surface of the paddle assists the player’s face angle awareness at address, making squaring up to the ball easier.
